Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9-inch round or square baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the sour cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top. Bake for about 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
